Author: I have a Freshman AC30R amp and I don’t know how to attach my headphones and guitar lead into the amp so that I can use both at the same time.I have a Fender electro acoustic. Can anyone help please?

There is a phone out jack on your amp. That is where you plug in the headphones. The cord from the guitar goes into your input jack..

Ive been looking for heads for my cabinet, i want a fender tubr amp that i can run it thru thr cab or a head. i wana see if i can get a fender head for a good price, any recomends? ive had 3 fender amps n use a fender 212r, but i wana upgrade to tubes and play it thru my 8 ohm cabinet.

If you have an 8 ohm cab that will probably take a solid state head. Most of the tube heads are 4 ohm. like the Dual Showman Reverb. Maybe some of the less powerful tube amps are 8 ohm. I have several vintage Fender amps and all are 4 ohm.
What’s your budget? I do like the vintage Dual Showman Reverb. Essentially the same sound as the Twin Reverb but in a head form.
The best way to find a deal on a Fender would be to watch your craigslist and watch ebay to see what comes along.

I am playing the 1960 Tweed Bassman and the 1964 Super Reverb together with my Blackie 1964 Strat. I recently swapped out two of the Jensen ceramic speakers in the Super to a Eminence Legend 10″ AlNiCo and an old Jensen Alnico I had that has a different cone than usual. They sound pretty good.

I want a new amp head for my guitar, but my guitar amp is kinda small and I don’t really love it. I have a big bass amp though that I love and have used with my guitar many times. So is it ok to plug a guitar amp head into a bass amplifier?
Your terminology is unclear. An amp head is just the part into which you plug a guitar or bass; it uses wall power to produce a higher-power signal but does not have speakers. You plug an amp head into a speaker cabinet.
A speaker cabinet has one or more speakers and a jack on the back into which you plug the cable from the amp head. The cabinet doesn’t use power from the wall or have any switches or controls.
A combo amp has both the amplifier and the speaker(s) in one box.

Bass cabinets do not produce the high-frequency sounds that most people want for guitar. Many bass amps are flatter than guitar amps and don’t produce the same electric-guitar sound that you’ll expect from a guitar amp.
You’re less like to damage anything by using a guitar with a bass amp & speaker than by using a bass with a guitar amp & speaker, but still be careful if one component is much bigger than the other.

I want to switch my orange guitar amp head for a fender head, or a fender amp that will play through my cabinet speakers, they are 8 ohms. If compatible, can i play through the fender combo amp amd have it go through the cab too? any ideas of other fender amps? Would it work with 8 ohms?
Yes, the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe has an 8 ohm output so that should be fine. fender amps can tolerate a difference of 100% output impedance meaning that an amp with an 8 ohm output should tolerate a speaker load of 4 or 16 ohms. Your volume will be lower but it shouldn’t hurt anything. (This is not true of British amps)
