I have a friend who would like to try a little experiment, but he cant find and info on the Internet so I thought I’d ask here…

can an acoustic pickup (assume I have access to the correct jack) be plugged into an amplifier designed for an electric guitar, and if so what will distortion sound like?

no there are certain amps for acoustic guitars, That hook up to the stick on pick ups i suggest using a humbucker
