Can anybody tell me why I am getting distortion from every channel of my California Blonde acoustic amp? Any repair guys out there that want to help would be greatly appreciated. I am electronically literate so please be technical.
Thanks.
Get the schematics. Make sure that your power supply voltages are correct . Feed a small signal in, and follow it with a ’scope. When to get to the stage that is causing the problem it will be readily apparent.
If you don’t have a scope take voltage readings. Anything way off indicates a problem. In many cases a small amp with a gain control can be used instead of a scope.
