		<description>Get the schematics. Make sure that your power supply voltages are correct . Feed a small signal in, and follow it with a &#039;scope. When to get to the stage that is causing the problem it will be readily apparent.

If you don&#039;t have a scope take voltage readings. Anything way off indicates a problem. In many cases a small amp with a gain control can be used instead of a scope.
