Thought I’d give a quick demo of the new Roland AC 33 acoustic amp using the looper function. I’d give the amp 7 out of 10 overall. Effects are ok but not great, and is a bit pricey – tho it’s aimed mainly at outdoor players and you pay for that freedom of use i guess. The footswitch is a must for the looper which adds another 50+ quid to the total.

I only have an acoustic guitar at home. I’m trying to learn some rock music, but it seems that, looking up videos wherein A.Guitars are used, people usually have amps or something like that connected. We have an electric at school, but without one for practice, I’m kinda unsure whether I’m doing the right sounds.
If it helps, I think I’m doing the powerchords. Will it sound better if I go with the regular chords + strumming? 
Try for the sound that you think works. If you look at many of the "Unplugged" concerts or videos of people playing, they improvise quite well with the accoustic. Keep playing and you will get it.

I am planning on purchasing an electric guitar and amp this Christmas but I am on a budget. I dont have much experience with an electric guitar but I do play acoustic quite well. Any recommendations on cheap but good guitars and amps?
Well personally I went to this site called flytimebg.com I was recommended to it by a friend and when you go there you can see that all the guitars are regularly priced but if you go to the Contact Us portion and write the company they usually will work with you or give you a coupon code for some really decent guitars. I got a Panda Electric guitar for my brother, it was really nice and I got $100 off just because I contacted them, they reply the same day too. They must be an individually owned company or something but I didn’t care I got what I needed for a pretty good price

just got a new acoustic amp,roland ac 60 trying it out with a sure beta 58A mic ,sounds quite good,im just trying it out so the song is not really complete,but you get the genaral idea
