    @MawBTS I like this …
@MawBTS I like this amp. Are line 6s playable at home. I mean this one? And how much does it cost?

  • MawBTS says:

You could use it at …
You could use it at home, I guess, but not very loud. And tubes only sound good when they’re played loud.

There’s a piece of electronics called a power attenuator, that lets you “drain off” power. If you put it between your Mesa Boogie and your speakers you can have great tube tone at quiet volumes.

    thanks, you are an …
thanks, you are an awesome teacher. i’ve only had a practice amp so far, which is kind of lame, but now I now that the “gain” will give me a bit of distortion so it doesnt sound like Mr. Roger’s neighborhood all the time! lol

    Nice introduction.

    Nice introduction.

There are great solid state amps out there.

  • RpdragonProduction says:

    line 6 amp sounds …
    line 6 amp sounds disgusting.

    I’ve got a question …
I’ve got a question: The sound that I prefer is the Mesa Boogie, but some people tell me that is too powerful to be used only at home. I really like this amp. In your opinion, this amplifier can be used alone at home? Or be used to force even in concerts?

  • nmcclure79 says:

    I’m sorry, I don’t …
I’m sorry, I don’t like the sound of those Line 6 amps. But, good demonstration.

  • ColdKilla713 says:

    stupid.
    stupid.

  • DarthProg says:

    If everyone knew …
If everyone knew how to do everything, there would be no need for instructional videos or instruction manuals, would there?

So should you bother showing up on instructional video comment boards to tell everyone that they’re idiots? No. Only if you’re a prick.

  • xXturbo86Xx says:

    look who’s talking. …
look who’s talking…..shut up doggie. at least i know how to use my amp and i’ve learned the difference between chorus reverb etc…all on my own. obviously i’m smarter than a 10 yo.piss off moron.

  • xXturbo86Xx says:

    wow you ARE stupid …
wow you ARE stupid indeed. big time!

  • DarthProg says:

By the way, I was …
By the way, I was using “enlightened” sarcastically. In other words, it’s pretty clear that you have no idea what you’re talking about.

  • DarthProg says:

    It has nothing to …
It has nothing to do with being stupid or lazy. As a beginner, it’s impossible for me to know the difference between “chorus” “reverb” and “overdrive” and “gain”. Even after listening, some of them aren’t terribly distinguishable from other effects. In fact, many musicians use these terms in the WRONG context. So there is a great misunderstanding about these terms, even amongst established musicians.

Most of us a here to improve our skills. You’re just here to be a prick. So off.

  • xXturbo86Xx says:

    i’m not an ” …
i’m not an “enlightened” musician. i play only for about 1 month.and i’m not talking smack. i’m trying to make you (all of you) use your brains. it’s very sad to see that there are so many people unable or too lazy to figure out simple things by themselves. and i’m not going to continue this bacause there’s no effect. a stupid person will always be stupid and a lazy one will always be too lazy to think.

  • DarthProg says:

    Good for you. Not …
Good for you. Not all of us are “enlightened” musicians yet. Now hopefully you have the decency to let the rest of us develop our skills in peace.

If you’re going to talk smack on comment boards, may I suggest the American Idol threads?

  • xXturbo86Xx says:

    no i’m old enough …
no i’m old enough to know what i’m hearing…rock on.

  • DarthProg says:

    Of course I know …
Of course I know it’s distorted. But as a beginner, I didn’t know the difference between “gain”, “overdrive”, and “distortion”. And the differences between “chorus”, “delay” and “reverb”. This video broke it down nicely.

What is unbelievable is that someone would bother to continually show up here and talk on everyone who is gaining something from this video. Again, take your negativity elsewhere, troll. What are you, 14 years old?

  • xXturbo86Xx says:

    “…I’m not exactly …
“…I’m not exactly sure what I’m hearing…” lol! what more can i say.just LOL. so when you turn the Gain/Distortion knob all the way and the sounds gets dirty and heavy…you don’t know that you are listening to a distorted sound???you think its something else? when you hear a lot of bass you don’t actualy know how that it’s bass….?? that’s what you’re saying…wow…when you hear a are you sure that it’s a fart?…this is unbelievable….

  • DarthProg says:

    I just started …
I just started playing, and having no background whatsoever in this field I thought the video was very helpful. Of course I can hear the differences when I turn the knobs, but as a beginner I’m not exactly sure what I’m hearing. This guy demonstrates and spells it out perfectly for beginners. There’s no reason to show up here and talk trash. Take your negativity elsewhere.

  • xXturbo86Xx says:

    i don’t see any …
i don’t see any insult on my comments.especialy to you.and who the are you to tell me what do? the president? i’ll comment on anything i want and i’ll say anything i want. it’s a youtube video (WERE ANYONE CAN COMMENT).you have a problem? DON’T READ IT. btw…i am a beginner. but not a dumbass.piss off

  • superlou1s says:

    I didn’t have a …
I didn’t have a problem with any of this shit, and I think it’s kind of ridiculous that you have actually started using insults. Kinda pathetic actually. Its a youtube video (THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO WATCH) made for beginners. You’re not a beginner, so you say “Oh this is useless” and insult everyone who might have gained from this by implying they can’t use their brains. I don’t want a flame war over this bullshit. STOP COMMENTING.

  • xXturbo86Xx says:

    no i didn’t know …
no i didn’t know anything at all. but i used my brain and i figured out everything. i learned to use a multieffect pedal in just 2 days without a manual and none to show me. and that’s the point.a tutorial for playing a tune is good but you don’t need a tutorial for everything! geez….can’t you do anything on your own??? use your brain. it’s a prety powerfull thing.
