I am currently running a Fender Frontman 15g guitar amplifier. I brought my guitar to school and my techer and prinipal wants my to perform. I need an amp that can work any where from a 25 by 30 foot room to a 30 by 100 foot cafeteria. I can’t use my frontman amp because it won’t work on loud volumes. Any reccomendations? Also, it has to be under 200 dollrs.
Oh yeah, also I need some good effects. I need a good distortion, wha, flanger, delay and the pedal that slash uses in the verse of sweet child o mine that he used for the arpeggio in the verse.
I would say go to a pawn shop and you could find a decent 30 watt for about 100-150. I’d say a roland cube 30 or cube 20 would do the trick and it has built in chorus, delay, reverb, flanger, 5 distortions, tremolo, phaser. and the effect you’re thinking of is chorus, really the roland cube 30 or 20 is the best idea and besides all that it sounds really good, and for a wah check ebay dont be fooled by bullshit like jimi hendrix wah or slash wah the stand Dunlop Crybaby wah sounds exactly the same and on ebay you can probably get all of that for $200.
Any Wah pedal will work. You should look into a multi-effects unit that comes with presets and allows you to manipulate your own sound. Your amp should have a jack that you can connect a speaker to. My 15W Bullet Reverb does.

I have a Roland cube 60 and it is so loud the head could power a 4 x 12 cabinet. I gig with it and it just sounds good.
Though there are many things that could be suggested, most will easily reach above the 200 dollar cap. But with that in mind, i would suggest one of three amps. The first is a Vox DA10. Though it doesn’t have much power, it is at $200. Also, it includes effects, which i personally find better sounding then many on board effects for amps. Second is a Crate V series. It is a 50 watt Tube amp, and also $200. It lacks the effects, but has a good clean sound, as well as beautiful on a crunchy effect or harder distortion. The third is well known, and probably your best bet: a Line 6 Spider III. It has the necessary power, as well as more than decent effects that will reach anything you want. But in the end, you’ll have to spend more for powerful amps, and the bigger brothers of all these amps would also be great.
And for effects, based on your above price, the DigiTech pedals will suit your needs. Also, the less expensive Electro Harmonix pedals are nice, though their upper end effects can be quite expansive.
Whatever you decide, i wish you luck with your music!
