Hi there,
My newest amp the Fender “twin amp” which is not to be confused with the classic “the twin” or “twin”. This is new from fender and it’s a mighty ball tearing tone machine. I love it!
You can switch it between 25watt and 100watt mode on the back. I am playing it at low volume on 25watt mode here in my room.
It’s a fat & chuggy sound that you would not find on amps like the Hot Rod series. I didn’t think it would be much different to my Deville but it’s a more vintage sound with nicer overtones but not quite as much bass as the clean channel on the deville.
This is a 2×12 combo with 2 channels, tremelo, reverb and more.
No digital FX.
I am playing straight into the amp with no effects.

In this video guitar lesson we demo a cool new piece of gear made by Audix called the Cab Grabber – we show how it works and why its cool to isolate your amp cabinet and makes way to carry less gear around for live shows. Buy the Blues Deluxe here… http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Guitar-Amplifiers-and-Speakers/Guitar-Amps-Combos-and-Cabinets/Guitar-Combos/sc1585/p3414.aspx Think Fender and for most people a Strat or Telecaster will come to mind, but let’s not forget they also have a history for making some of the finest amps on the planet. Just as Fender got it right first time with their two iconic guitars, the same has to be said of their amps. It’s amazing that in a world brimming with technology and miniature gadgets galore, that no one has come up with a better formula for amplifying guitars than the good old valve. It’s little wonder then that Fender offer a range of brilliant reissues from the ’50s and ’60s. Here we have the tweed covered Blues Deluxe.
This combo weighs in at 45lbs and is solidly constructed. Height is 18.75″ width 23.5″ and Depth 10.5″. There are three 12AX7 and two 6L6 valves plus a solid state rectifier. One 12″ Eminence special Fender design 50 Watt speaker delivers the sound. There are two channels, superb vintage Fender clean and the bluesey drive channel with a host of features.
Independent Gain and Master Control’s for the drive channel. A bright switch, effects loop, reverb, presence, middle, bass, treble, drive select button, drive, volume and further bright switch. Finally the power and standby switches. All mounted on a highly polished chrome panel with retro looking chicken head knobs. This amp is capable of producing the classic Fender clean tone and punchy blues rock sounds with ease. Comes with channel footswitch.
I feel if your toying with the idea of an affordable classic Fender style gigging combo, you’ll find no better match than with the Blues Deluxe. Just add a couple of your favourite pedals for a great set up. Highly recommended by players the world over.

Les Paul straight into the amp. Volume 10, Treble 10, Bass 4
I picked this puppy up COVERED in real floor carpeting. I was sad that someone would do that to such a classic amp! But to my surprise, I opened her up and found it to be 100% original! So luckily, they kept their “changes” to the outside only.
After a once-over by me to get her back to spec, a fresh set of power tubes, and a minor bias circuit adjustment to help balance the tubes, and she’s set. Sounds pretty good for a AB165 circuit! Most mod the CRAP out of these amps.
I do apologize for the off-time playing. I simply plugged in, turned it to 10 and played. Then played over myself all in one take. Its unprofessional to be as off as I am, but I had fun. I might do a followup vid with drums and bass if anyones interested.

this is a demo of my Do It Yourself amp, i made it with things that i found in my house like an old computer speaker and stuff. i tested the amp with the zoom G1 (the cheepiest multiFX pedal), and with the DOD deathmetal FX86 (the most hated pedal in the history of guitar playing).
the guitar its anl old korean dean guitar that i bought in a pawnshop for 50 dollars, when i get the guitar it was falling into pieces, so i had to repair and save the poor axe!
i play some blues in the demo but my guitar licks are stiff and sloopy so dont kill me!
instead check the sounds that comes out of my DIY little green monster
i built it when i didnt had a real amp inspired by those crazy and incredible people that build Cigar Box Guitars!!
so enjoy and send your feedback
cheers to all the blues lovers…rock on!
saludos from south america!

This video is a demo/review of a Roland AC60 Acoustic guitar amplifier. I used the Ovation Celebrity Series CC045 12 String Acoustic/Electric guitar (the same one can be seen in a previous demo/review of the guitar itself plugged into a Marshall AS50R Acoustic Amp). This is a great little, barely used amp that comes with a great gig bag (that can be seen at the end of the video). It will be going up on eBay just as I soon as I can make a listing…
I sell lots of used guitars and basses (both here and on eBay…same name there…100% positive feedback) and I’m a dealer for the Mbrace stands (still $60.00 including USPS Priority mail service for the US, $80 for Canada or Mexico and $85.00 for the rest of the world) and also Thomastik-Infeld strings. Let me know if there is something you want/write me if you’re interested…again, use the send a message link on my channel page.
The video recording was done with a JVC GR-D850 miniDV Camcorder using the built in microphone.
The guitar is plugged straight into the Roland AC60 Acoustic amp without any outboard effects at all.
If you like what you hear, or are interested in any of my current or future used guitar offerings, subscribe…you’ll get a heads up on any guitar that I’ll be listing for sale on eBay (or here) as I post a video here first.
Thanks again for watching!

http://www.fillmorepedal.com This video tutorial will tell you how to make your own circuit boards for guitar effects. There are hundreds of great gadgets out there and a lot of the good ones don’t come in a ready-to-build kit So I teach you how to make your own circuit board. This method uses acids that etch copper so follow the safety instructions. In this lesson I etch the circuit board for the Ampeg Scrambler. Then I go on to Part II and actually build the project using this circuit board made here in Part I. Finally, I have 2 audio Demos of playing the Ampeg Scrambler effect a wild, wooly and crazy giutar effects pedal from 1969
The Soundtrack is an original copyrighted work written and performed by me entitled “Holy Grail Blues Image”. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT.
If you want to continue one to Part II which covers assembling the circuit board it is here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbAdrB94Omo
and Part III which is where to buy parts and how to find the plans for building your own effects is here

You can find some nice PCB layouts at www.tonepad.com by the way.

Andrew Wasson of Creative Guitar Studio answers a viewers question…
Q: I would like to ask you how to set up amplifiers for different purposes. I use a Fender Stratocaster and an Epiphone hollow body electric guitar I use a Fender Deluxe 50 Watts all tube amp. I also have a Line 6 POD which I use for effects. Can you explain to me how to approach setting my amp bass, treble, middle, presence, master levels.
1). In order to get a clean bright jazzy sound like George
Benson, or Wes Montgomery with my Epiphone?
2). To get a clean country style rhythm sound with my
Stratocaster?
3). To get a distorted or overdrive sound for a guitar solo
similar to; for example Foreigner, or David Gilmore?
4). Also would be interested in other sounds such as metal.
- Thanks,
David, Queens NY.
A: Pursuing sounds between; amps, guitars and effects units can be a long and often frustrating journey. And, just when you think you’ve got that perfect sound at home… You’ll get to the gig and your amp could mysteriously sound terrible. In this video I will discuss various common settings for; Country, Jazz, Rock and Metal.
