Laney A1 acoustic amplifier demo with Steve Ainsworth. Laney A1 is a three channel amp, offering two channels of instruments and a channel dedicated to playback. Instrument channel provides comprehensive EQ and functionality. Based on the Deluxe Reverb power section, it has a very clean tone paired with an ultra smooth overdrive tone…sounds like an advertisement, no? Well…it ain’t! I just thought everyone should hear the tones this bad boy can get.

http://www.premierguitar.com PG’s Joe Coffey is On Location at the 2009 New York Amp Show where he visits the Little Walter Tube Amp booth. In this video segment, we get to hear and see their 15 watt combo and 30 watt head. The 15 watt combo has a chassis similar to the 1945 Tweed Deluxe and a Jensen P12N Alnico 5, 12″ speaker. It uses a pair of 6SC7 octal tubes as a pre-amp driver and a phase inverter (PI). It also uses two 6V6 push pull power tubes and a 5Y3 rectifier tube.
The 30 watt head uses a similar configuration to fender amps of the ’60s and ’70s. It comes loaded with a 6SC7 and a 6SL7 in the preamp circuit and a pair of 6L6’s power tubes. It also utilizes a 5U4 rectifier tube and uses a simple Volume and Tone control that covers both input channels.

However this amp was made to go to places that amplifiers are traditionally not able to – I’m talking of course about using this amplifier outdoors .Thanks to its battery-power capability, the AC-33 lets you take your act anywhere and therefore this little power-house of an amplifier will appeal to buskers or perhaps those who need ultimate portability to their guitar rig.
The AC-33 provides 15 watts per channel resulting in 30 watts of stereo sound and can run on the optional A/C adapter or 8 x AA batteries.It has on-board reverb, chorus and ambience (spatial) effects along with a 38 second phrase looper. There’s also a stereo aux input for an MP3 player or similar and an anti-feedback function for if you attach a microphone, whilst the cabinet can be configured to stand in “kick-back” mode similar to a floor foldback monitor.
