iRig. In this video guitarist Chris Buono demonstrates how to set up some amp modeling and effects configuration’s in Amplitube. Amplitube is an amp modeling and guitar processing app from IK Multimedia that runs on Apple iOS devices like the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Chris takes you through creating a setup from scratch and explains what each setting does and how to use it. For guitarists looking to add amp modeling to their rig but don’t want to use a laptop this is a great place to start.

http://www.fillmorepedal.com This video tutorial will tell you how to make your own circuit boards for guitar effects. There are hundreds of great gadgets out there and a lot of the good ones don’t come in a ready-to-build kit So I teach you how to make your own circuit board. This method uses acids that etch copper so follow the safety instructions. In this lesson I etch the circuit board for the Ampeg Scrambler. Then I go on to Part II and actually build the project using this circuit board made here in Part I. Finally, I have 2 audio Demos of playing the Ampeg Scrambler effect a wild, wooly and crazy giutar effects pedal from 1969
The Soundtrack is an original copyrighted work written and performed by me entitled “Holy Grail Blues Image”. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT.
If you want to continue one to Part II which covers assembling the circuit board it is here

and Part III which is where to buy parts and how to find the plans for building your own effects is here

Hey guys !
In this demo I wanted to show you what kind of tone I achieved from this VERY, VERY, VERY cheap and simple Guitar gear Setup.
The guitar I´m using is A Dearmond M65, Probably the cheapest copy of a Les paul style guitar. It has two stock humbucker pickups, nothing fancy about but still fat and nice sounding pups.
The amp is a Roland Bolt 60 wich is a 60 watts All tube powered 6L6 Based amp. I almost paid nothing for this amp I got it very very cheap. I´ve seen alot of them Sold for a tiny amount of cash.
But I think It has a great tone, fat tube tone
Besides the Guitar and Amp the only effect I´m using is a Boss DD3 delay pedal.
So this Demo Involves some very very simple guitar equipment but I still think it sounds decent.
I´ve got myself a crappy camrecorder so you can see me now
The sound is recorded by a very very cheap microphone aswell
LOW BUDGET HERE I COME hehe
Sorry for my crappy playing in this one though
What do You think ?
Take care !

Andrew Wasson of Creative Guitar Studio goes through his acoustic guitar rig in response to:
“I hope you can help me with my acoustic amplification. I have been playing amplified acoustic nylon string guitar at a few banquets and wedding ceremonies over this past summer. And, I have had poor results overall with amplifying my acoustic guitar. I play a Nylon String Yamaha CGX-171. It has a piezo pickup & a condensor mic with an built-in onboard pre-amp. I have tried playing it through a few rented Fender acoustic amps; (the Fender Acoustasonic 30), which is a 30 watt amp with an 8 speaker. I also tried renting the Fender Acoustasonic Junior; which is a 40 watt amp with two 8 speakers and I even once rented the Fender Acoustasonic SFX II which is an 80 watt amp and has an 8 driver a tweeter and a 6 side-mount speaker.
While the Fender SFX-II sounded the best out of the bunch – overall the quality of my live sound (to me personally) still does not come across as very full and/or rich sounding. I was wondering if you could go over your acoustic guitar set-up and let me know what gear you use for doing your acoustic guitar gigs.
Thank you very much,
Donald Calgary, Alberta Canada
Andrew covers everything from passive transducers to his speakers, pre-amp and rack gear.

The Fender ‘65 Super Reverb Combo Amp is a long overdue addition to Fender’s Vintage Reissue series. Here’s a faithful re-creation of the legendary and highly collectible Blackface Super Reverb from the 1960s. This 45W, all-tube combo with 4 x 10″ Jensen speakers, tube reverb, and vibrato has long been considered one of the best amps to “crank up” for unmiked club gigs or on the concert stage. The all-time bluesy, funky rocker! Includes 2-button footswitch.

The Visual Sound Route 66 multi effects pedal gives you the great tone guitarists have come to love, plus an added noise reduction system that gives you that quiet ride you’ve always wanted. Classic compression combined with classic overdrive-these two effects sound great on their own, but combine them, as the Route 66 pedal has, and get the ultimate combination in a single pedal pedal.
