Peavey Valveking 100 Head and Valveking Slanted Cab
Playing with a Fender Texas Fat Strat which is an awesome guitar that they don’t make anymore 
I use no effects whatsoever it is straight from the guitar into the amp. I do however use the Peavey Remote Switch (Foot Switch) to switch between the clean and lead channels and to toggle the boost volume and/or gain (boost), all of those features are found on the amp though.
This video is basically meant to give people a good idea of the ValveKing Amplifier and Cab.
I have done a lot of research to find what would be the best half-stack I could buy for the money. My conclusion was that the Peavey Valveking 100 was the best fit for me.
This amp is VERY loud, and Very Versatile.
I have it on less then 1 volume in this video and it was still so loud earplugs would probably be a good idea.
Keep in mind that a tube amps distortion does not generally sound good until pushed to a very high volume. I still feel this amp sounds good on low volumes and can be used as a practice amp. But I know it would sound even more amazing at high volumes!
I also considered buying a Bugera 6262, and a B-52 AT which I have heard great things about both, but I also heard those amps are VERY UNRELIABLE. They are built with cheap parts apparently and can break down at any moment.
Peavey Amps have the reputation of being extremely durable, they pretty much last forever. I still have a used Peavey Bandit 75 which was made in the 1980’s and it still works fine.
Overall, I am very happy with this amp, and I hope this video helps people make a choice when considering buying a new amp. Peavey products are an incredible value for the money in my opinion.

Andrew Wasson of Creative Guitar Studio goes through his acoustic guitar rig in response to:
“I hope you can help me with my acoustic amplification. I have been playing amplified acoustic nylon string guitar at a few banquets and wedding ceremonies over this past summer. And, I have had poor results overall with amplifying my acoustic guitar. I play a Nylon String Yamaha CGX-171. It has a piezo pickup & a condensor mic with an built-in onboard pre-amp. I have tried playing it through a few rented Fender acoustic amps; (the Fender Acoustasonic 30), which is a 30 watt amp with an 8 speaker. I also tried renting the Fender Acoustasonic Junior; which is a 40 watt amp with two 8 speakers and I even once rented the Fender Acoustasonic SFX II which is an 80 watt amp and has an 8 driver a tweeter and a 6 side-mount speaker.
While the Fender SFX-II sounded the best out of the bunch – overall the quality of my live sound (to me personally) still does not come across as very full and/or rich sounding. I was wondering if you could go over your acoustic guitar set-up and let me know what gear you use for doing your acoustic guitar gigs.

My good friend Brian Kramer hosts a cool acoustic cafe in the Old Town, Stockholm! In a very cozy old cellar that’s hundreds of years old, musicians gather twice a month to jam the blues!
I had a great time with these guys, the show turned into a jam at the end featuring a whole bunch of reso’s playing together, haha!!

This is my Gibson Hummingbird 07 played through an AER Compact 60 mk2 Amp. This will hopefully give you an idea of how it sounds. The sound is quite bright but thats how i Eq’d the AER as it gives it a nice punch.
