http://www.sourceaudio.net The Sound Blox Classic distortion modeler is very cool! I like the noise gate a lot. Would be very handy in the studio for stacking rhythm tracks without all the hiss fizz and noise. The pedal has tributes to all the classic stompboxes like the ProCo Rat, Tubescreamer, Big Muff Pi, Tone Bender MK II, Dallas Arbiter Fuzzface, Marshall and Boogie preamp tones, and more. Also has 6 presets and a graphic EQ…all in all, and very handy tool!

I promised one of my viewers I would show how to bias your own power tubes on an adjustable amp. You need a digital meter from Radio Shack and a dual bias probe (preferably). It’s easy. I also show the solder sucker you get from Radio Shack. Plus I show how to check to phase of your speakers. I follow up with another video on the speaker check.

the MOOG Ring Modulator MF102, demonstrated, poorly, by yours truly. Wish I knew what to do with these things. Some folks can really make em’ speak…I am not one of those dudes. Do not watch this clip.

Here is another modeler … the V-Tone Guitar GDI21. This one is based off of the SansAmp GT2. It has 3 modes – the California Mode (Mesa Boogie), the British Mode (Marshall) and the Tweed Mode (Fender). It also serves as a Direct Injection (DI) box to plug into mixers. IMO – Something like this isn’t too far off from the AMT line – this is designed to sound like other amps, in a foot-switch form factor.
As always, I hope you enjoy the video.
