Les Paul straight into the amp. Volume 10, Treble 10, Bass 4
I picked this puppy up COVERED in real floor carpeting. I was sad that someone would do that to such a classic amp! But to my surprise, I opened her up and found it to be 100% original! So luckily, they kept their “changes” to the outside only.
After a once-over by me to get her back to spec, a fresh set of power tubes, and a minor bias circuit adjustment to help balance the tubes, and she’s set. Sounds pretty good for a AB165 circuit! Most mod the CRAP out of these amps.
I do apologize for the off-time playing. I simply plugged in, turned it to 10 and played. Then played over myself all in one take. Its unprofessional to be as off as I am, but I had fun. I might do a followup vid with drums and bass if anyones interested.

This video is a demo/review of a Roland AC60 Acoustic guitar amplifier. I used the Ovation Celebrity Series CC045 12 String Acoustic/Electric guitar (the same one can be seen in a previous demo/review of the guitar itself plugged into a Marshall AS50R Acoustic Amp). This is a great little, barely used amp that comes with a great gig bag (that can be seen at the end of the video). It will be going up on eBay just as I soon as I can make a listing…
I sell lots of used guitars and basses (both here and on eBay…same name there…100% positive feedback) and I’m a dealer for the Mbrace stands (still $60.00 including USPS Priority mail service for the US, $80 for Canada or Mexico and $85.00 for the rest of the world) and also Thomastik-Infeld strings. The video recording was done with a JVC GR-D850 miniDV Camcorder using the built in microphone.
The guitar is plugged straight into the Roland AC60 Acoustic amp without any outboard effects at all.

The TA100 features tap tempo, Feedback Locating System on each band of EQ that uses LEDs to show where feedback is occurring, phase switch, power section featuring Dynamic Correction, Gain & Notch filter rotary controls on both Channels, as well as signal level LED on both channels.

First test made with an Orange Tiny Terror 15W all tube amp driving an Orange cabined loaded with a Celestion V30. The guitar used is a Charvel mod 6 with Floyd Rose and a Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck humbucker. I used an 8ch preamplifier: ELBERG MP8. The test is done with: GrooveTubes a1, Shure SM57, Sennheiser e906 and MD421. No compression or EQ has been used whatsoever. AD converters from a MOTU 8pre.
Ps. The 57, the e906 and one of the a1 are at the same distance from the center of the cone (something around middle way between center and edge). The other a1 is at the center and the MD421 is on the edge of the speaker.
These positions are ones I like best from each mic.
