Which is better tube amps or combo amps for electric guitar?

I prefer tubes over transistors, as do most. Neither is "better", so I encourage you to see which you like best.

    I have yet to meet any guitarist who can HONESTLY tell the difference between a high quality tube and a high quality solid state amp.

    You do, however, see far more cheapo solid state amps out there, which I’m guessing is the reason the myth of tube amps superiority wont die.
